Govt of Punjab decides to shorten intermediate syllabus

Punjab's Higher Education Department agreed to shorten the Intermediate syllabus because of the corona lockdown. HED has set up a committee to prepare proposals to reduce the FA FSc Syllabus after intermediate classes began with a delay of more than 3 months.

The Matric Smart Syllabus has already been released. HED has given guidelines to the Textbook Board to begin work on reducing the syllabus. It should be noted here that the intermediate syllabus is very long. Students need to study more than 12 chapters in Part I for Chemistry and Mathematics, and the English and biology syllabus is also very long.

A committee headed by the MD Textbook Board has been set up to decide the formula for shortening the syllabus and submitting its recommendations to Punjab's government.
