Government School Teachers Suspended Over Posts about Pakistan and Politics
Social media posts about Pakistan & politics have led to the suspension of teachers at government schools.
In Dera Ismail (DI) Khan, three teachers have been suspended for posting alleged anti-state and political content on social media.
Gulzar Ahmed, a primary school teacher, Inamullah Rahmani Khel and Izhar Ahmed, both upper secondary school teachers, have collectively been suspended by DI Khan District Education Officer, Masarrat Hussain Baloch.
Additionally, the DEO requested that the Director of Education take serious action against Senior School Teacher (SST) Ramazan Dhalla.
Educators who post political content on social media in violation of the regulations are now being monitored. Teachers or public servants will also face disciplinary action in the future if they engage in politics on social media.
