CSS Paper Pattern 2022

The CSS exam consists of twelve (12) papers, six (6) papers being mandatory and the remaining six (6) papers being optional.

• 100 marks for each paper.

• The total number of points for written CSS exams is 1200. 600 marks are awarded for compulsory paper and 600 points for elective paper.

• The time allocated for each paper is 3 hours.

CSS Written Exam Passing Marks

Only candidates who achieve at least 40% of the marks in compulsory subjects and 33% in optional subjects are considered qualified candidates for the written examinations of the CSS. The total number of points is 50%, if these criteria are not met, the candidate will not take the next exams, which are listed below:

If the candidate has passed the written examination, the candidate is entitled to a medical examination, a psychological examination and viva.

Preliminary test based on the FPSC CSS 2022 MCQ

The Federal Public Service Commission has published the public notice for the css mcq pre-test or the mpt-test 2022. The mpt test is mandatory to participate in the css 2022 written exams. The CSS MPT test is a test based entirely on the knowledge. The MPT test consists of a total of two hundred (200) multiple choice questions and a mark for each MCQ. Rules for written CSS exams

• If you choose an optional course in error, your application will be rejected and the candidate will be asked to re-evaluate their selection by the fpsc. Select two subject  in a group.

• Choose the combination of optional courses before the deadline. No modification is possible after the deadline.
• If the candidate has not taken any compulsory or optional subject due to any medical or other reasons, he/she shall not be allowed to sit in the rest of exam.
• No candidate may have more than 3 chances to participate in the competitive exams.
• If the candidate arrives late in the examination room, no additional time will be allowed according to the rules.
