Four Pakistani ACCA students scored highest marks in the world
Arham Ali and Usama Maharir, both from Lahore, topped the Maintaining Financial Records and Managing Costs & Finance exams, according to reports. While In the Management Function exam and the Recording Financial Transactions exam, Karachi's Komal Bawani and Peshawar's Umair Jan beat all global applicants in the exam held last year in December.
Assad Hameed Khan, the Head of ACCA Pakistan, praised Pakistani students for working hard and continuing the legacy of exceeding their peers throughout the world. In recent years, Pakistani students have constantly won worldwide ACCA tests, making the country a global powerhouse for world-class ACCA talent, he added.
Three Pakistani students topped different subjects of the ACCA exams given in March 2021 last year in April. Karachi's Kahaf Moid and Ali Shan topped the Audit and Assurance and Financial Reporting exams, respectively, while Fakiha Masood of Faisalabad topped the Advanced Taxation exam.
