Details about Sindh School Education Scholarship program 2022-2023

The Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) has issued an open call for applications from pupils of class 5 who are currently enrolled in (School Education and Literacy Department) SELD-run schools in Karachi.

According to the data, the Sindh School Education Scholarship Program is awarding these scholarships for the academic year 2022-23. (SSESP).

Benefits

Successful candidates will be able to study at Public School Gadap from 6th to 12th grade. These fully-funded scholarships will cover the cost of the hostel, tuition and books in addition to the monthly stipend.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Karachi Division residents from Karachi East, Karachi West, Karachi South, Karachi Central, Malir, and Korangi districts.

They must be in class 5 at one of SELD's schools and have attended a government school for at least three years, including class 5.

On the deadline for this programme, applicants must be under the age of 12.

Documentation required

Along with the application form, attested photocopies of the following documents are required:

Form-B

School registration card

Photocopy of father's CNIC

Photocopy of father’s domicile

School leaving certificate (to be submitted at the time of admission)

Also, six passport-size pictures required with a blue backdrop.

What is the procedure for applying?

Interested students should mail or courier the filled copies of the application form, as well as other relevant documents, to "Public School Gadap, Karachi, 22 km of super highway main Gadap, road Gadap town Karachi."

Criteria for Selection

At Public School Gadap, there are 70 places available, 50 for boys and 20 for females. Prior to the confirmation of their allotment on these 70 seats, students will be required to take an entry test, which will be done on a merit basis.

The entrance exam will consist of questions in English, General Science, and Urdu/Sindhi, with a minimum passing score of 60%.

Fee

Interested applicants must pay a fee of Rs. 600 for the entry test. The challan form can be given at any Askari Bank branch. Along with the application form and other needed papers, the school copy of the challan form should be submitted.
