All public and private schools & colleges in Sindh to remain closed tomorrow
On March 8th, schools and colleges in Sindh will be closed for Shab-e-Barat.
In a statement, Haider Ali Shah, chairman of the Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association, confirmed that the holiday would be observed.
As part of the education department's steering committee calendar, schools observe Shab-e-Barat.
In the month of Sha'ban, the 15th night of that month is Shab-e-Barat. Shab-e-Barat is generally regarded as a night of forgiveness, blessings, and mercy for the Muslim community as a whole.
In addition, Mr. Haider Ali Shah pointed out that the federal government has declared Pakistan Day as a public holiday on March 23rd.
