AKU and The Dawood Foundation unite to transform Pakistani science education
As part of their shared goal of achieving equitable human advancement, the Dawood Foundation's MagnifiScience Centre (MSC) and Aga Khan University (AKU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the last week of November. In addition to teacher training, the project focuses on science innovation, education, informal learning, healthcare, and learning technologies.
By collaborating via knowledge sharing, student and professional exchange, training, consultations and workshops, and research, both institutions will advance the development of young people and professionals.
During the five-year term of this Memorandum of Understanding, both organizations will designate their institutional representatives to implement programs to transform Pakistan's science education.
Regardless of socioeconomic status or demographics, everyone has access to scientific exposure and hands-on learning opportunities.
