What is AIESEC? You ask. When talking about internships, work-study, volunteering programs, and working abroad, AIESEC is the name that might come up. But what is it? An internship host organization? First things first AIESEC stands for “association for the international exchange of students in economics and commerce.” It is the world’s largest global youth network, which is an independent, non-political, and also non-profitable organization. 

Their sole purpose is to support recent graduates in developing leadership and management skills, creating awareness among fresh graduates regarding world issues and equipping them with international internships, which can help them understand their potential impact on society. And this organization let them inspire to participate in the global community through experiencing learning and teaching.

AIESEC offers three different opportunities to choose from, which includes: global volunteer projects, global entrepreneur projects, and global talent programs serving different purposes.

GLOBAL VOLUNTEER PROJECTS: 

AIESEC global volunteer projects can provide an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the local community. It commits to sustainable development goals of the united nations; therefore, all of these projects revolve around one of those goals. These programs are for individuals who are interested in experience traveling around the world while working on life-changing projects. It is also a great program that gives you a chance to collaborate with NGOs and create a positive impact on society. 

All of the volunteer projects last from 6 to 8 weeks helping students to work with amazing NGOs.

GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM:

Global entrepreneurship programs in AIESEC recognize the qualities in students that are entrepreneurial, very responsible, culturally aware, and passionate about their work. This program test participants abilities of leadership, such as managing team and projects. This program makes all the participants work in start-up projects and help the company grow. These projects last for shorter, but they are incredibly potent for students. 

GLOBAL TALENT PROGRAM:

A global talent program or global internship program is a perfect option for freshly graduates as it will help the students to head out and gain experience in a professional world. It is also an excellent program for students to make connections with some of the top organizations in the world. It will help them polish their skills and help them deal with real-world situations for some renowned companies around the world. These internships last for 6 to 12 months.
