Young people should become part of law enforcement agencies: Army Chief
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that youth should be part of law enforcement agencies.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Turbat area of Balochistan. On arrival at Turbat, Corps Commander Quetta was received by Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali.
The Army Chief was given a detailed briefing on the security situation in Balochistan and ensuring border management measures.
At the same time, he appreciated the morale, operational readiness of the troops and expressed satisfaction over the successful operations against the terrorists.
According to the statement, the Army Chief also visited Turbat University and had a detailed meeting with representatives of all sections belonging to Ketch district. Among those who met were local leaders, tribal elders, students, lawyers and women.
On the occasion, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the youth of Balochistan are very talented and they should take advantage of the opportunities available for the security of the region, their education and development of skills.
The Chief of Army Staff reiterated that peace and prosperity of Balochistan is the top priority and every effort will be made to provide a peaceful environment for socio-economic projects in the province.
He said that the people of the province have made great sacrifices for development and stability. The real potential of Balochistan will be harnessed through comprehensive national efforts.
