All medical universities in Sindh, Islamabad and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa have agreed to hold the MDCAT on November 13th or November 20th at the same time, and the syllabus will remain the same as the one available on the Pakistan Medical Commission's (PMC) website.

According to the report, MDCAT will be conducted by Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (Balochistan), University of Health Sciences Lahore, Khyber Medical University, Peshawar, Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi, and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad.

MBBS will have a pass rate of 55% and BDS will have a pass rate of 45%. Last year, almost 20,000 Pakistani students sought admission to foreign medical and dental colleges, resulting in a large financial loss for the country.

NUMS will conduct their MDCAT separately, and only students intending to enroll in these schools can appear.

On the same day, the answer sheets for the MDCAT will be uploaded to the websites of the exam-conducting universities and PMC.

PMC will inspect medical and dental colleges as decided by the council.

For doctors over 60 years of age, the council unanimously decided to renew their registration certificates for five years instead of two years.
