Undergraduate admissions are open at the NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research for 2023

Admissions to the NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research are now open to all potential candidates. Applications are being accepted for various undergraduate programs affiliated with the institute. Applicants are invited to apply for undergraduate programs offered by NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research at The University of Sargodha and UET Lahore.

A 2-year BS Information Technology program
A 4-year BS Information Technology program

Documents necessary

Authenticated copy of CNIC or B-form
Proof of residency
Copy of the candidate's matriculation result or certificate issued by a valid Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education
The candidate's HSSC/ Inter result or equivalence certificate must also be endorsed by a valid Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education
In case the applicant has equivalent examinations, the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) will issue an equivalence certificate
Roll number slip from 1st year, for 2nd year candidates
Validity of entry test results is one year (if applicable)
Certified copies of 4 recent passport-sized photographs
A copy of the Hafiz-e-Quran certificate (if applicable)
Foreign candidates must submit their passport and their father's work permit (if applicable)

Applicants must meet the following criteria

University of Engineering and Technology Lahore Program Requirements
The applicant must have earned at least 60% in Intermediate / DAE or equivalent / foreign qualifications
To be considered for admission, the candidate must have passed the Entry Test arranged by UET, Lahore for the academic session in which he seeks admission with a minimum score of 33%
In the Entrance Test, candidates must select the same subjects as their intermediate (or equivalent) subject combinations, as only those disciplines related to their chosen subjects will be considered for admission
DAE qualified candidates are not subject to the combination restriction
For applicants with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology or equivalent degree, they should have at least 60% marks, if applying on an annual basis, or a 2.5 CGPA, if applying on a semester basis
Applicants should reside in the area in which they seek admission

University of Sargodha Affiliate Program Requirements

For the 4 year BS (IT) program, you must achieve at least 50% marks in Intermediate (HSSC) or an equivalent qualification.
ADP/BSc. The minimum marks required for the 2-year program should be 45% in the annual system
Hafiz-e-Quran candidates receive an additional 20 marks

Print out the IEFR Undertaking Form and sign it on a Rs. 100/- stamp paper
