Turnitin & Teach For Pakistan collaboration
Turnitin & Teach For Pakistan collaboration
Teach For Pakistan and Turnitin, a leading education technology company, launched their collaboration earlier this week. The partners will work together to train the next generation of educators and leaders, with a focus on improving education access and quality for children in primary and secondary school.
Turnitin is donating technical knowledge, the EdTech solution and a Fellowship award to Teach For Pakistan as part of an integrated relationship. Teach For Pakistan is a Pakistan-based, autonomous, national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to eradicating educational injustice in the country by mobilising a diverse and skilled leadership force.
Students can catch up on a year's worth of study in just five months in a Teach For Pakistan classroom. Alumni Fellows become lifetime advocates for education reform, drawing on their experiences to work at various levels of education and across the broader socioeconomic system to promote equity and excellence in education for all children.
The Turnitin award will support programme operations while also fund a teacher's training and as a result, the education of 50 students over the course of two years.
Turnitin will also provide technical assistance to Teach For Pakistan, assisting in the improvement of relationship and performance management technology tools and processes. The Turnitin Pakistan staff is also available to help with training on excellent learning practises and academic integrity for Fellows and students.
