The British Council Pakistan has cancelled more examinations
Yesterday, on Thursday, the British Council, Pakistan, announced that there would be no Cambridge school exams on Friday, 12th May. This is due to unrest and tension in the country.
British Council officials stated that all exams have been canceled for both morning and evening shifts. Currently, they are in contact with Cambridge to figure out the next steps, and they will share more information as soon as possible.
Candidates and parents were shown support at this stressful time by the Country Director of the British Council, Amir Ramzan, and the Country Director of Cambridge International Examinations, Uzma Yousuf. Exams on May 10th, 11th, and 12th were canceled after a difficult decision was reached.
Their main concern, however, is everyone's safety and well-being.
Students' academic journeys have been disrupted by the current situation, according to the official statement issued.
In a message to students, the British Council underscored that they are diligently monitoring the situation for any updates or relevant information. They further emphasized that the safety and security of students is their utmost priority.
