School registration was suspended after a teacher assaulted a student
In a private educational institution located in the Korangi area of Karachi, a female teacher is accused of assaulting a class 7 student. This is said to have led to the suspension of the school's registration.
In addition to imposing a fine of Rs 25,000 on the school management, it was also ordered to pay the student's medical expenses.
An office order was issued by Rafia Mallah, Additional Director, Directorate of Private Institutions Sindh, in this regard.
Recently, an Al-Sahar School teacher in the Korangi area tortured a female classmate for opening another book instead of the relevant one.
On Wednesday morning, a three-member investigation team from the Directorate of Private Institutions visited the school and confirmed that Muhammad Rizwan's complaint was valid.
As indicated in the inquiry report signed by Rafia Mallah, student Abdul Rafi fractured his elbow as a result of the torture he received from Miss Hafsa with wood. This was both inhumane and in violation of the registration certificate clause.
In addition, there is a violation of the Sindh prohibition of corporal punishment act 2016. The school's registration will be suspended and a fine of Rs 25 thousand will be imposed. A police report has been filed by the victim student's father at Korangi police station. An FIR has also been filed.
