Pilot Program for teachers to be launched in Sindh

Sindh’s Education and Literary Department has announced a ‘pilot program’ which will be launched from today, the 16th and tomorrow, the 17th of January, 2023, to monitor the attendance of teachers across the province.

Sardar Ali Shah mandated the implementation of a mobile app for attendance monitoring in Sindh's public schools.

The pilot project is going to be launched from 16th of January & onward in 7 districts of Sindh to ensure the attendance of teachers. As instructed by the Education Minister, the Education Monitoring System pilot project has been launched in seven districts. According to Sardar Ali Shah, this application will allow teachers' attendance to be accurately monitored.

The project will be launched in the first phase in Hyderabad, Matiari, Jamshoro, Dadu, Umarkot, and Kashmore.

In Sindh, district education officers have been asked to provide complete records about newly recruited teachers starting a few days ago.

All district officers were requested to provide the Accountant General of Sindh with records of all teachers. Paying salaries to newly recruited teachers was approved by the provincial authorities.

A notification was issued to the concerned officers by the accountant general to submit the documents of the new teachers, including their joining reports.

Approximately 53,000 individuals appeared at teacher recruitment tests in 2021, which were concluded in 2022.
