Overseas Pakistani students celebrate their national identity and culture

In addition to introducing local culture, food, dress, sports, and music to other countries, Pakistani students studying abroad are the most impactful and ‘real ambassadors’ for Pakistan on an international level.

Pakistan's High Commissioner to Canada, Mr. Zaheer A. Janjua, praised the students. He stated that those studying abroad, namely, at Ottawa University, celebrated their national identity during a cultural fair they themselves organized.

The students were commended for organizing the event and taking pride in displaying their culture and identity.

The aforementioned gala was organized by the Pakistan Student Association, University of Carleton, Ottawa, at a local park.

The event was attended by a large number of Pakistani students as well as Canadian students of Pakistani origin and other nationalities.
