On-campus activities ban in Islamabad
The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training announced that the ban on all on-campus practices in Islamabad's private schools would be extended until April 11.
All private educational institutions in Islamabad that had previously been given a waiver and were permitted to conduct on-campus activities are now prohibited.
The decision was taken because of an increase in covid cases, which has risen to 16% in the last 24 hours.

The notification said, "All private educational institutions are instructed to comply in maximum letter and spirit fully."
Prime Minister Imran Khan urged people to avoid activities of any kind as the country battles an accelerating third wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
For three days in a row, Pakistan has registered over 4,000 cases, positivity ratios in many cities recorded to be in the double figures.
