Islamabad Announces Local Holiday

Deputy On 30th January, 2023, all public and private institutions, including Pakistan secretariat Islamabad, will remain closed, according to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Islamabad.

The Office of the District Magistrate in Islamabad officially issued a notification, which stated that today, Monday 30th January, 2023, has been declared as a ‘local holiday’ in the capital, with the exception of essential office services being open, which include the CDA, ICT Administration, ICT Police, MCI, SNGPL, IESCO, and Hospitals.

All private educational institutions in Islamabad are also expected to adhere to the official notice, remaining closed today.
