Good news for teachers in KP
There has been an increase in the budget, scholarships and regularizing of the teachers in the province of KP.
Thousands of school and college teachers will be regularised by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Thousands of former FATA project personnel, as well as hundreds of doctors, will be reinstated by the KP government.
The provincial administration will make permanent 58,000 school and college teachers, according to details. The ex-FATA project's 4,070 employees, as well as 720 ad-hoc doctors, will be regularised. Around 63,000 employees would be regularised by the KP government in total.
Scholarships for outstanding female students have been awarded Rs. 2.4 billion by the KP government, while scholarships for bright male students have been allocated Rs. 900 million.
A total of Rs. 500 million has been set aside by the province government for scholarships for students in grades 1 to 8.
In addition, the provincial administration has introduced 'Education Cards,' which will allow bright students to attend top-ranked national higher education institutions.
The KP government has set aside Rs. 1 billion for the Education Cards initiative, which is modelled after Pakistan Tehreek-e-flagship Insaf's healthcare programme, Health Cards (PTI).
