Class 10 Student Became Deputy Commissioner of Faisalabad for a Day

The Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Imran Shaikh gave students the chance to become Deputy Commissioners for a day, giving them the opportunity to become Chief Ministers for a day featured in the Indian film Naik.

As part of this unique initiative, DC Faisalabad organized competitions involving curricular and co-curricular activities and announced that the winner would be made an honorary deputy commissioner for a day.

In these competitions, Marva Basra, a student of class 10, won the honor of being the youngest "Deputy Commissioner" for the first time in the history of Faisalabad by showing outstanding performance.

The Honorary Deputy Commissioner of the day started the day with lavish protocol by reaching the office from home in an official vehicle

A salute was given to the police force by Deputy Commissioner Imran Sheikh upon entering the office. During the meeting, the Honorary Deputy Commissioner presided, visited the schools, met with the Commissioner and the RPO, and made authoritative decisions.

Marva Basra achieved 1072 marks in curricular activities and stood out by winning first place in painting and elocution competitions at the district level.

According to Deputy Commissioner Imran Shaikh, the idea for this competition came from a discussion with former Commissioner Saqib Manan about introducing children to dual-curricular and co-curricular activities after Covid-19.

In this way, he says, children will be attracted once again to educational activities
