Careem Captains to Receive Health & Education Benefits
Careem Captains to Receive Health & Education Benefits
On Thursday, 23rd June, Careem partnered with TCF and Chughtai Labs to offer their captains health and educational incentives.
The Super App of the Middle East and Pakistan has teamed up with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) and Chughtai Labs to offer discounted prices for high-quality education and healthcare to its Captains and their children in honour of UN Public Service Day.
According to the collaboration agreement, TCF will pay a reduced cost to 300 Careem Captains so that their young ones can benefit from a demanding curriculum that upholds international standards.
Captains from various ranks will receive savings accordingly for laboratory testing as a result of the partnership with Chughtai Labs. The discounts worth 30%, 27%, and 24% will be redeemed by the captains of the platinum, silver, and bronze categories, respectively. All other Captains will also be eligible for a flat-rate discount of 8% on medications. Additionally, Chughtai Labs will distribute special coupons to Captains on a monthly basis based on their grades through the Careem Captain App and other internal channels.
Since its launch in Pakistan in 2016, Careem has over 800,000 Captains enrolled on its site and has invested up to $100 million. As it develops into a Super App, Careem presents a number of options as it broadens its services to include the mobility of objects (daily required deliveries) and money as well as people (peer-to-peer credit transfer and mobile top-ups).
"Careem has always worked to improve the quality of life of its Captains and will continue to watch out for them and speak for them as they are the backbone of our company," Feroz Jaleel, Country Head of Careem Pakistan, said in a statement regarding the special moment.
