Balochistan to begin digital intermediate exams
In an announcement made on Friday, Mir Ejaz Azeem Baloch, chairman of the Cheap Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), confirmed the first of its kind implementation of a digital system for administering intermediate examinations.
With exams having begun on the 13th of May, the provincial government has completed all the necessary arrangements. This includes appointing examiners, supervisors, staff, and senior inspectors.
It is estimated that 93,733 students will take part in the exams, according to the board chairman's official figures. Board members are ready for the upcoming digital system to be introduced. In order to combat cheating, digital record-keeping and modern monitoring systems will be implemented in examination centers.
In the province, digitalization is a crucial step towards upgrading education.
