A meeting of federal and provincial education ministers will take place today (Tuesday) to examine a plan to move educational institutions' December winter vacation to January.
The meeting will be chaired by federal education minister Shafqat Mahmood.

The meeting will look at school reforms in the province and debate a proposal to move the winter vacation to January.
The Sindh government has previously stated that educational institutions will be closed from December 20 to January 1 for the winter holidays.
It states that from December 20 to January 1, all schools and colleges in the province will be closed. On January 3, academic activities will resume.
