Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah has said that private schools are required to give 10% of 'deserving' students free education. The matter of paying salaries below Rs. 25,000 will also be addressed.
He discussed this during a conversation in his office with a representative from Express News. Despite the fact that there is supervision across all schools, complaints have also been received from independent educational institutions.
Sindh government minimum wage is 25 thousand rupees, but most private schools pay only 8 to 10 thousand rupees.
This policy of the Sindh government will be implemented by the management of private schools and they will ensure a minimum salary of Rs. 25,000.
Primary schools urgently need upgrading, according to the provincial education minister. Children across the country cannot continue their education after primary school due to a shortage of schools.
Sindh's education system will be improved by opening elementary schools instead of primary schools.
He said there is a need to upgrade Sindh's schools. There are 35,000 primary schools, but the infrastructure for 35,000 sixth grade students is lacking. An approval process has been initiated for the upgrade policy.
As part of his commitment to education and training for transgender people, the provincial education minister is introducing a policy of giving basic rights to transgender people for the first time in Sindh.
In order to facilitate the education of female students in Sindh, the Education Minister said that travel facilities would be provided. In this regard, a private partnership was formed, whereby a shuttle service will be provided for the educational institution located at a distance of 30km. Therefore, students will not have to face any hardships in commuting.
