FPSC Announces To Conduct CSS MCQ Based Preliminary Test
The Federal Civil Service Commission has announced that it will conduct the MCQ-based CSS Pretest (MPT). The firm has agreed to take the selection test before the start of CSS 2022. Applicants are informed that, according to the admission criteria established by the committee, applicants with at least the second baccalaureate can participate in the CSS exam and that the age limit for applicants is 21 to 30 years old. The CSS MPT test is valid as of the CSS 2022 exam and candidates must qualify for the test in order to take the exam. According to the FPSC announcement, attendance at the MCQ-based CSS Pretest (MPT) is not seen as an opportunity for candidates. It is announced that CSS 2022 online registration will start shortly so that applicants can submit the application form.
Syllabus for Test
The test will be conducted to determine the eligibility criteria and there will be no changes to the paper sample and syllabus for the CSS 2022 exam. The FPSC CSS MPT test consists essentially of compulsory subjects from the CSS examination, including Islamic studies (20 marks), English vocabulary, grammar, usage, and comprehension (50 marks); logical problem solving, analytical abilities and mental abilities (60 marks), general abilities: basic arithmetic, algebra & geometry (SSC level), Urdu grammar usage and translation (20 marks); and general knowledge: everyday science, current affairs, and Pakistan affairs (50 marks).

CSS Screening Test
The MPT test consists of 200 multiple-choice questions and candidates must achieve at least 33% of the points to pass the test. The duration of the test is 200 minutes. There are no negative marks and every question on the exam carries a mark. Without passing the grade, candidates cannot take the written CSS exam. After the start of the test, the candidate's answer key is downloaded the same day. The candidates will also be allowed to take the carbon copy of the answer sheet. The MPT test fee is Rs 500 / - and the test result is only valid for one year. The costs of the test are not refundable under any circumstances. The FPSC provided the candidates with the syllabus to follow when taking the exam for the exam.
