Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law With the emerging trends in legal education, it has become increasingly necessary to develop a law university in Pakistan which imparts legal education at par with the leading universities of the world, and in accordance with international standards. In particular, as an aftermath of the lawyer's movement, and the growing independence of judiciary in Pakistan, training of professional lawyers has become absolutely critical. Across the globe, legal education has markedly evolved in recent years, and it appears that Pakistani law schools are significantly lagging behind in legal scholarship, research, and academics.
