Overview
Albukhary International University (AIU) is a private nonprofit education institution, a fully residential campus with state-of-the-art facilities. It provides conducive living and learning environment for self-discovery, nurturing relationships and building understanding on global issues. At AIU, students are exposed to holistic educational approach through combined academic and social engagement programme which is carried out throughout the study period. Designed and constructed on 45 acres (18 hectares) site, the AIU campus is located near the city of Alor Setar, the capital of the State of Kedah in the north of Malaysia. The inspiring architectural splendour of the University campus is one that mirrors the centres of learning of yesteryears. Although several are even reminiscent of classical Muslim architecture during the golden age of learning then, the beauty of AIU lies not just in its rich and beautiful architecture but also-and very importantly-in the diverse enrollment of students from over 40 nationalities. At AIU, we recruit students under the category of underprivileged and poor and we support them financially through full scholarship (tuition fee, accommodation fee and monthly meals' allowance). We even connected with few prominent non-governmental organisations ranging from volunteering-humanitarian based, foundation based and with few universities. We believe through this connection we would be able to get assistance from our partners to bring potential and eligible candidates for us to offer a place to study with scholarship.

Application
The following is the admission criteria for Foundation Studies Programme:
- Passed GSCE O Level or equivalent with 5 credits inclusive of English and Mathematics; OR
- Passed A Level or equivalent with 3 Principal E and credits in English and Mathematics at GSCE O Level or equivalent
The following is the admission criteria for Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons), Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) (Marketing) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) (Human Resource Management) - (Business Programmes)
- A-Level / Diploma / Foundation / Matriculation / STPM with minimum CGPA of 2.80 or STAM with minimum Jayyid; AND
- Minimum Credit in Mathematics and a Pass in English at O Level / SPM; AND
- IELTS with a minimum band score of 5.5 / TOEFL with a minimum band score of 550 / MUET with a minimum band score of 4.
The following is the admission criteria for Bachelor of Elementary Education (Hons) and Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (Hons) - (Education Programmes)
- A-Level / Diploma / Foundation / Matriculation / STPM with minimum CGPA of 2.80 or STAM with minimum Jayyid; AND
- IELTS with a minimum band score of 5.0 / TOEFL with a minimum band score of 500 / MUET with a minimum band score of 4.
The following is the admission criteria for Bachelor of Media and Communication (Honours):
- A-Level / Diploma / Foundation / Matriculation / STPM with minimum CGPA of 2.80 or STAM with minimum Jayyid; AND
- Minimum Credit in English Language at O Level / SPM / GSCE; AND
- IELTS with a minimum band score of 5.5 / TOEFL with a minimum band score of 550 / MUET with a minimum band score of 4.
