The need of Pharmaceutical Industries for drug development, bioavailability and  bioequivalence testing and peoples interest to check the quality of their drinking water and food items forced Dow University of Health Sciences to establish an independent Institute of Pharmaceutical and Environmental Research under the ICH/GCP guideline as a  multidimensional Research center which fulfill the requirement of all type of drug testing including fake and counterfeit drugs, low potency  drugs and Microbiological testing need  of ministry of health in Pakistan and provide research in betterment of food products, herbal and pharmaceutical products.
