An institute entirely devoted to Vacuum Science and Technology and its allied areas like Coating, Nano-Technology, Plasma, Metallurgy, Laser Spectroscopy, etc. It has developed the unique vacuum standards and high-tech labs. It has also established state of the art Display Hall for the knowledge of experiments about vacuum environment, model demonstrations and display of different vacuum accessories/ equipment.
