The LGS Defence International Degree Programme shall aspire to create an academic environment which will encourage learning to better serve the world in the 21st century. The undergraduate, graduate and research degrees at the LGS Defence International Degree Programme shall stimulate intellectual curiosity and exploration thus encouraging the release of human potential both intellectual and affective. It shall encourage freedom of expression and respect for human rights across the world. Students will be encouraged to be self-reliant, critical thinkers who realize that learning is a lifelong process which must be translated into action in order to benefit humanity and nurture life on earth in all its permutations. The LGS Defence International Degree Programme shall aspire to be a clearing house for research and publication. Students shall be urged to realize their social responsibility to the environment both immediate and extended and shall foster cooperation between cultures and people across the globe.
